AI receptionist for electricians

You're in a crawlspace pulling wire. Your phone is ringing.

We answer it for you, ask the things you'd ask, and book the appointment onto your calendar while you finish the job you're already on.

Panel upgrades, EV chargers and generator installs are all quote-first jobs. Whoever gets on the calendar first usually gets the work.

Thanks for calling Brightline Electric, this is the receptionist. What's going on?
Half the house has no power and I smell something burning.
Okay. Is anything sparking, hot, or smelling like it's burning right now?
Yes — right now.
Are you the homeowner, and what's the address?
I own it. 41 Elm Street.
Someone can be there at 9 tomorrow. Does that work?

A panel upgrade is worth real money. A voicemail is worth nothing.

Every caller who hangs up on your voicemail is dialing another electrician before you've climbed down. The receptionist picks up on the second ring so they never get that far.

It answers these

  • Do you install EV chargers?
  • Can you upgrade my panel to 200 amps?
  • Do you pull the permit?
  • Are you licensed and insured?
  • Do you do generator hookups?

And it asks these back

  • Is anything sparking, hot, or smelling like it's burning right now?
  • Is it the whole house or one room?
  • Do you know what amperage your panel is?
  • Is this a house or a commercial space?

Every answer comes from what you tell us during setup. If you don't quote a panel upgrade over the phone, it doesn't quote it — it books the visit instead.

$600 a month, no contract.

If it books one a panel upgrade you'd otherwise have missed, it has paid for itself many times over.

$600 / month
  • 400 minutes of calls included — about 200 calls. Most one-truck contractors use well under that.
  • Answers every call you miss, day and night
  • Books straight into your Google, Outlook or iPhone calendar
  • Screens out sales calls and robocalls
  • Text summary of every call, with the recording

Over 400 minutes it's 30¢ a minute, and you get a text before that happens. No setup fee, no contract.

Try it for two days, free.

Live on your phone tomorrow. No card until you've heard it book a real customer.

What electricians ask us

Does it understand electrical company calls specifically?

Yes. We set it up around your trade before it takes a single call. It knows what electricians get asked, and it knows the questions worth asking back: is anything sparking, hot, or smelling like it's burning right now; is it the whole house or one room; do you know what amperage your panel is.

What if a caller has half a house with no power and a burning smell?

You decide what counts as an emergency. It can take the details and text you immediately, or transfer the call straight to your cell so you're talking to them in seconds.

Do you install EV chargers?

It answers from what you told us during setup — your real policy, in your words, not a guess.

Can you upgrade my panel to 200 amps?

It answers from what you told us during setup — your real policy, in your words, not a guess.

Do you pull the permit?

It answers from what you told us during setup — your real policy, in your words, not a guess.

What does the $600 a month include?

400 minutes of answered calls — about 200 calls — plus booking into your calendar, spam screening, a text summary after every call, and the recording. There is one price and one plan. No setup fee, no contract.

What happens if I go over 400 minutes?

Minutes past 400 are 30¢ each, and you get a text when you're getting close, so nothing is a surprise. Most one-truck contractors don't come near the limit.

Do I have to change my phone number?

No. You keep the number that's on your truck and your business cards. You forward it to us with one code on your phone — either every call, or only the ones you don't pick up. Turning it off is the same code. If you'd rather have a separate line, we can give you a local number instead.

How does the 2-day free trial work?

We build your receptionist, you forward your missed calls to it, and for 2 days it answers for real. You hear the recordings and see what lands on the calendar. If you don't want it after that, you dial the code to unforward and you owe nothing. No card needed to start.
